The SQ-7 is the new concept of VTOL (Vertical Takeoff and Landing) UAV. SQ-7 presents a new definition in aerodynamics, flight stability, payload capability and flight time. Not only does it operate with very little noise, it is also capable of sustaining excellent performance during high winds and adverse weather with over 1 hour of flight time.
SQ-7 HAS BEEN DEVELOPED FOR ADVANCED MISSIONS WITH HIGH DEMANDS IN PAYLOAD AND FLIGHT STABILITY.
The 4 brushless motors give minimal noise (less than 65 dba at 3 metres).
If speed is important, the SQ-7 can be fitted with 8 motors.
We supply an ultra-light carbon gyro-stabilised gimbal with visible and thermal infra-red cameras that can be easily installed on the SQ-7.
Other extras available include a generic gyro-stabilised brushless gimbal or customised platforms for unique cameras and payloads.
The SQ-7 system consists of the air vehicle and a ground station with the software for mission planning and flight control, together with a telemetry system. The radio control transmitter can be handheld, laptop or mounted inside a control room.
The SQ-7 can be flown manually or autonomously by either 1 or 2 people depending on the task.
All types of GCS show the downlink video in real time (with recording) plus follow the air vehicle route on a map (Google Earth).
SQ-7 has been developed for advanced missions with high demands in payload and flight stability.
Its low-noise operation capability easily merges with critical operational scenarios. Compatible with our ultra-light carbon gyro-stabilized gimbal, users have full free of movement
